We are made in the image of God, and he spoke everything into being.

Our words are so POWERFUL! Our internal dialogue is so IMPORTANT!

Our words reveal our HEART!

The older I have gotten the quieter I have become.

Why?

Because of the 1^st three sentences in this blog.

I will never forget when the Holy Spirit said that every word spoken either gives life to the kingdom of light or the kingdom of darkness. Then he asked what kingdom are you giving life to?

I really got quiet after that evaluating my words. I didn’t want to give life to the kingdom of darkness.

Later he (Holy Spirit) went on to say that after Jesus was elevated to the right hand of the Father and given all power and authority that we were made kings and priests.

That when we speak things, they are declarations and what was I declaring over myself, my finances, my family etc..

So, I got even quieter. Really gave thought to what was coming out of my mouth.

Then he started talking about agreement. That the enemy has legal right in situations in our life by what agreements we have made unknowingly.

That favorite sad country love song, shaking my head up and down to something someone was saying. The list goes on.

Then he went on to show me that when I speak God’s words it’s a sword coming out of my mouth.

He taught me to ROAR the word of God over my circumstances and watch them flee.

He taught me to declare Their written and spoken promises over my life, my family, my city, my country.

That if we could see in the Spiritual Realm what happens when we speak, roar, and declare the written word we would not ever say anything else.

Scripture says that “his people perish for a lack of knowledge.”

We stay in sickness because we are constantly speaking agreement to that illness even though we are praying for healing.

We stay in a cycle of being broke because we are always cursing our finances when God is trying to bless them.

We stay in dysfunctional relationships because we don’t take the authority, we have to change those relationships.

We never step into what God has for us in this life because we think we are still a sinner and not worthy of anything.

So, we never dream with God and never walk out our inheritance he has for us.

I want to challenge you today, what are you speaking, declaring, and coming into agreement within your life that you SHOULD NOT BE?

Get quiet before the Lord and let him reveal what needs to change in your thoughts and words.
